hey man, here are the pics of the starter so you have an idea of what your up against

see how the contacts are worn paper thin? thats what you have to replace.


this is what wears away the contats, and then it gets corroded and wont engage right lol



thats what your lookin at lol. the starter is tucked way up under the mani, hugging the hell out of the block, you need a bunch of long ass extensions to run from the front of the motor, right along underneath the mani to reach the top starter bolt, thats the bitch one lol, and you have to hold a wrench on the other side. tyvm toyota engineers in your inifinte wisdom lol

thanx bro this will help out alot. still having drawing problems ill be gettin a new ground wire and checking the alternator then the starter
