I got some S-Techs for my civic and looking for some shocks. Ive been reading around the honda forums and noticed that everyone pairs up the S-Techs with Tokico Blues, now my question is, would it their preference or if thats the best set up for this S-Techs or is there anyother shocks that would fit these springs?

KYB's are OEM grade replacements...NOT really considered Performance AfterMarket...

I'd go with the Tokico Blues or KONI.

I have had my Tokico's for 3yrs now Awesome Performance!!!!

It depends how you drive. The best shocks out there are bilstein but thats if you want performance. If you just want a smooth ride while going dumped you can get kybs or even monroe sensatracs.

Yeah Darwin, if it's only 1.5 and you don't drive it hard if the stock one's are fairly new just leave them. If they're old already you might as well replace them. You don't want to get Konis/Bilstein/Tokicos unless you really mash, plus coilovers for civics are usually pretty cheap, you could probably find a set for the price of performance shocks/struts.

Just get KYBs, or ask around someone here might have hookups with pep boys for Monroes. Konis will run you about 600, ride really good but it just seems too much to pay for just shocks. Tokico's and Bilsteins are just slightly cheaper.
