| What do you guys think GM should do? Do you think a company like toyota should buy them out? A Austrailian company already tried. I think GM is done for. |

| i agreee thats the basis of capitalisim the weak die off in a fair system ....... but if our econemy was not so tied into this industry so much the goverment could care less ... to many jobs and even some of our culture is based on these industies ...... hey did u know most other major car manufactures in other countries are goverment backed ..... like FIat who is buying Chrysler thats why alot of these companies are doing ok cause even in a recession they still have money coming in saw that on 60 mins freaked me out thats not fair i thought but now since the goverment is bailing out the car industry i looked at it as the same as fiat and the others i saw on that program |

| If they made better cars and priced them better. Then maybe they will sell. I will never buy a chevy. Shouldnt of spent so much trying to make the new Camaro. Stick to 4 bangers with High MPG. Who wants a car that get 15MPG? |

| The thing is they should have filed chapter 11 six months ago...before the union and government could take over. They would have owed the Gov. money yes... but they wouldn't be under direct gov and union control. So now Chrysler is run by their union and Fiat...GM is controlled by our new socialist-esque government and the mob...sorry I ment the Auto union...Ford remains in the clear. |

That right there scares the crap out of me... Socialism is and can never be a good thing. I hope the Gov. plans to sell off their stake in the Auto Industry because the Gov. Has NO place in the private sector. |

| See this is what pisses me off right now. Everyone is just looking for a bail out. Car manufactures, people that way over spent on their housing and people that have ran all their credit cards way up. I think you should have to deal with what you did. GM did this to them selfs. I mean look at Hummer. Did they really think that buying that would help them in the long run? Look at what it did when gas prices shot through the roof. You could buy a used hummer for dirt. Dealerships didnt want to take them in on trade, cause they where worth nothing. Then you have these companies paying millions in bonuses. When the bonus money came from the govt for bail out money. That just makes it all worse. |

| I havent seen a Hummer on the road in a long time. I see the H3 once in a while, but no H2s. They are in practical. Yeah they look cool all done up. But when it cost so much to fill a tank. Its not worth it. Next up. Hybrid Hummers. |

| since americans now own part of GM, can we get employee discounts? as for hummer, its not just one brand/model that killed GM. GM makes a lot of crappy vehicles on top of taking those vehicles and selling the same model under 3 different brands. |

I will never Except the Government "Taking Care of Me" do you want the government telling you where you can work... how much money you can make... what you can drive.... how many kids you can have...If you can get married? Socialism is just a nice way of saying communism. I can't just lay down and die because everybody thinks Obama is the second coming...This country was built on the Idea Of Freedom and the Idea that Anybody Can Better Themselves...That's not Socialism.
thats all I got... |
